Would this be silly to do to a 1969 Ford Mustang?

Would it sound ridiculous to put turndowns on a 1969 Ford Mustang with a 302 engine? Or… Would it be a fun thing to do while saving for electronic cutouts?

      don’t do it the car is to beutiful to be dusty all the time turn downs tend to kick up dirt and other stuff.
