What is the proper spark plug gap for a 1983 Ford Mustang?

By admin | October 12, 2009

Ray Finkle asked:

I have a 1983 Ford Mustang, it has a 5.0 liter V8 with air conditioning, power steering, and a 4 speed manual transmission. I don’t have much documentation on the car, I haven’t been able to find any information on it thus far, all I have is the owners manual and I couldn’t find it anywhere. Thanks in advance guys!

.035 to .040 should be fine.
