He’s right about other model. I have a 98 Lincoln Towncar & somehow lost the remote so i bought a remote from a local flea market for a dollar, seriously and it actually works after the remote was programed. Dealer cost was $100. for remote & $60. to program it. Thats a $160 before Uncle Sam. Thanks for the video demonstration.

The lock button on both remotes.
November 19th, 2009 at 5:40 pm
Actually what happens is, after you move the key (one of the originals) forward and back 8 times, you have engaged the “key fob set up” and then at that point you have 20 seconds to program your remote or remotes, you can tell by the chimes. and at that point, you have to press the lock button once on each remote, until you here the locks in the car doors lock.
