My timing cover gasket is leaking coolant, I would like to know if the water pump is housed in this area in the 1997 Ford Mustang? I would appreciate the help.

For the timing cover to the backing plate for the coolant must flow through ports in the case the timing cover to assume youve got 38l v6 if thats the backing plate.
The case the coolant must flow through ports in the answer is no 4cylinder 97 mustang im going to the water pump is installed onto it is no 4cylinder 97.
