How do you grease the ball joints on a 2000 Ford Mustang?

By admin | September 26, 2008

Mrs. Mustang asked:

My car has been making some funny sounds lately. There is a brief moaning or honking noise coming from under the car when I accelerate from a stop. My husband said that the ball joints may need to be greased. If anyone has any other ideas as to what it might be, or knows how to locate and grease these joints on a 2000 Ford Mustang, it would be greatly appreciated.

Could dirty brake fluid cause this? When I took it down to get inspected a week ago they said the brake system should be flushed.

The newer cars and your noise could be sway bar bushings going bad or upper control arm bushings going bad or upper control arm bushings have it checked out.
