There is a special tool to get the radio out. If your radio has 4 holes in it at even points on the face then this is where you’d have to insert the tool to spread out the tabs to get the radio out. The face plate still has to come off to get the radio free from behind it. I can’t tell you your options after that but any after market radio would spoil the look of the dash. Its a good unit with good power, boost its output with a sub and better speakers if your looking for power.
