      is the Idle too high???

      The idle should be set at 650 rpm when the tranny is in park or neutral. if the idle will not come down, you probably ahve an intake problem.

      its could be several things, throttle linkage stuck, vacuum leak…ask a mechanic to look at it and see what he says

      i actually had the same problem with my 2000. it ended up being a problem with the ecu. lucky for me my pappys a former car guy and he got his hands on the software for it. so unless you got connections its one of those things you have to go to the mechanic for. sorry
