The 2011 Mustang GT introduced at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit will feature a thoroughly modern five-liter V-8 engine that will have all the niceties of twin independent variable valve timing for its four-valve configuration that will allow it to deliver 412 horsepower and 390 ft.-lb. of torque. A variety of techniques move this new engine a long way from the gas guzzler category; instead it offers fuel economy estimated to be 25 miles per gallon on the highway. @Stangsoldier13 Very true, I remember growing up in Phoenix, there were fast 5.0’s all over the place, but it doesn’t change the fact that I’m gonna eat some pony car (kinda a sissy name for a powerful car haha) the first chance I get. All for less than the price of a base v-sucks (err.. six) Mustang. Still don’t understand why people pay that much for cars like that…
